End Tables

I've always believed the best way to learn a new skill is to dive in head first with a project. I wanted to learn how to weld and sketched up these side tables for our couch.  The design is simple enough for a beginner welder to complete and serves multiple functions.  In its everyday state, the side table is just that - a boring old side table. Rotate it 90 degrees and the base tucks under your couch or bed and becomes a work table. Perfect for folks like me who enjoy working on the couch with their morning cuppa.
